These patchwork pants are out of this world! Every pair is absolutely one-of-a-kind, featuring a unique distribution of colorful patterned Kantha Quilt patches. Although every pair is different, they all have a very similar "vibe", because we did not organize our off-cuts by color before sewing the Kantha Quilt Coat leftovers into twice-upcycled yardage. We love how well all the different patterns and colors play together! And you will love playing in these pants.

Fabric

These pants are made from one of a kind Kantha Quilts. This unique, upcycled fabric is hand stitched together in India from three separate layers of old lightweight cotton saris. The resulting material is gorgeous, sustainable, and as original as you are! (Please note, this salvaged material is not flawless.) But wait, there's more! First, we made coats out of the Kantha quilts. Then, we patched the off-cuts back together, to make this extra-unique patchwork yardage, and turned that into these pants.

How it's made

These pants were constructed in Traverse City, Michigan USA from sustainably sourced materials. Yana and her team carefully constructed every item in our fair wage, low-waste production studio.
